Coundon is a tenacious point guard who plays bigger than his size often out rebounding much larger opponents. He is quick and has exceptional ball handling skills and is as comfortable getting to the basket through traffic as he is shooting the 3.

MAYA COYSH

SAM LUPO

Myrtleford Breakers (Boys)

Lupo is his team’s most dominant player and is showing amazing abilities at both ends of the court so far in 2022. Scoring comes easy for the top age under 12 athlete as he isn’t afraid to attack the rim or shoot from outside. He is a difficult player to defend against. His length is one of his biggest influences on the game at the defensive end.

XAVIER MILLAR

Myrtleford Breakers (Boys)

Millar has come from nowhere in his first season of basketball making a major impact for his club. He is Myrtleford’s starting five and has shown he has plenty of potential at both ends of the floor. The club is excited by his development moving forward.

EDIE MORTLOCK

Maryborough Blazers (Girls)

Mortlock has been described as a player “with the heart of an ox who always gives 100 per cent” by her club. She is a strong two-way runner and can produce a wonderfully accurate shot. She loves a bit of banter on the court as well.

She is adept at controlling the tempo of the game and possesses advanced finishing skills.

PHOEBE PORTER

Maryborough Blazers (Girls)

A tall and athletic player, Porter gives her all for the team every minute she is on the court. Despite being new to representative basketball this season, she has shown terrific skills with her rebounding and shooting standouts.

OLI ROSS

Maryborough Blazers (Boys)

In his second season as a Blazer, the point guard is continuing to work hard at both ends of the court. He has displayed terrific ball handling and game sense. Make sure to keep an eye out for Ross’ speed and quick passes.

BILLY RUMPFF

Maryborough Blazers (Boys)
