The season is set to kick off on April 13, with KommunityTV’s exclusive coverage expected to make a ‘resurgent’ return to the field that weekend.

The KommunityTV live stream fixtures across the first part of the season will be released after the Easter Long Weekend but are expected to feature several fierce clashes.

It is the third year KommunityTV has partnered with the Victorian Amateur Football Association to live stream action from their competitions, which began with exclusive finals coverage in 2022.

The KommunityTV coverage of the VAFA over the years has included some memorable moments including Collegians breakthrough premiership glory after 10 years in the title wilderness, newly minted AFL chief executive officer Andrew Dillon returning to his roots to call a match of his former team Old Xaverians and a representative clash between the Big V and the Perth Football League’s best which went into double extra time.

VAFA chief executive Jason Reddick believed the 2024 VAFA season would throw up a host of its own memorable moments.

“The VAFA is delighted to again partner with the Herald Sun and have our various William Buck Premier Men’s and Women’s match of the days feature on KommunityTV,” Reddick said.

“The live stream broadcast is a quality service appreciated by our vast amateur community and wider football enthusiasts, ensuring they stay connected to the action when unable to attend games in person.”
