Looking at the VAFA Big V men’s line-up, all coach Greg Hutchinson can do is shake his head.
Across every line, there’s match winning talent.
It’s a group of players only some can dream of leading into battle.
And he’ll have that opportunity on Saturday from 2pm when the Big V takes on the Perth Football League from 2pm, with the game live streamed on KommunityTV.

What started with a 50-man squad has been down to the final 22 who will be led by captain Josh Freezer, who will pull on the jumper for the sixth time.
“It’s quite flattering, something I gave much thought about,” Hutchinson said of the opportunity to coach the representative team.
“Coaching the best players from across Premier, B and C is a wonderful opportunity, I’m really looking forward to the game on Saturday.

“You look at defence and you don’t really have too many issues about who is going to kick out. Then in the middle you know your ruckman and midfielders are going to give you a real contest.
“Then we’ve got a forward line capable of putting a good score on the board. Josh and harry Thompson are the only two guys who have played Big V before.
“There’s some youth and ex-AFL guys as well. It’s a really good mix. It was certainly difficult to get to the final team.”
Since the original 50-man squad was named last month, the selected players attended four Monday night training sessions.
There they undertook light skills sessions and recovery in the pool as they balanced time at club land.
But one eye was always looking towards July 15.
“A lot of the guys know each other after playing against each other but they didn’t know each other as people,” Hutchinson said.
“For us it was about building a chemistry and seeing how they gelled and we’ll see how that translates onto the field.
“They all know how to play, we can’t wait to see them put it all together.”
As the VAFA Big V prepares for the first time since 2019, Hutchinson said he was expecting a tough game against their Western Australian opponents.
“It’s going to be a tough game, it’s a good level of footy over there,” he said.
“We know a little bit, so we’ve got some intel. It’s going to be a good challenge.”
