“Not only is this a chance to showcase the exciting next generation of AFL talent in Victoria, but also across the country, as we include several interstate academy teams in our coverage.

AFL head of talent pathways Grant Williams said the NAB League was a crucial piece in the development puzzle for the next generation of AFL stars.

“There is a lot of excitement from across the competition about the prospect of completing the NAB League Boys season in 2022, particularly after so much football has been missed in the past couple of year,” Williams said.

“A significant amount of work has gone into preparing for the 2022 season, from those involved in leading and managing programs, their coaches and players through to stakeholders including our partners like NAB, the AFL clubs and the team behind running the competition.

“The NAB League provides a great platform for some of the most talented boys in the country to develop and thrive, and we’re looking forward to seeing this next group come through.

The live stream deal continues a strong partnership between News Corp and the AFL which included the full season coverage of the NAB League Girls in 2022.
