Our experts give you an early shot at finding a winner this weekend.

Saturday: ROSEHILL (10 races, 12.10pm), FLEMINGTON (9 races, start 12.20pm), EAGLE FARM (10 races, 12.16pm), MORPHETTVILLE (9 races, 12.02pm), ASCOT (9 races, 3.24pm). All times EST

FLEMINGTON

BRAD WATERS (Racenet)

JACQUINOT (Race 6, No.1 – $5)

Brilliant colt that charged to win the Golden Rose before a terrific effort in The Everest. That form is outstanding for the Coolmore Stud Stakes.

Value bet: YEARNING (Race 8, No.12 – $18)

CHRIS VERNUCCIO (Racing News Editor)

LA CRIQUE (Race 8, No.14 – $2.40)

Brilliant Group 1 winner in New Zealand, she’s got tactical speed and James McDonald on-board which will make her very hard to beat.

Value bet: SANDPAPER (Race 1, No.2 – $8.50)

GLENN McFARLANE (Herald Sun)

ASFOORA (Race 9, No.2 – $3)

Is building an imposing record having smashed the boys last start and can win here.

Value bet: BELLE PLAISIR (Race 8, No.9 – $19)

SIMON MOY (NewsRacing)

TIJUANA (Race 1, No.2 – $4.20)

Caught a little wide last start. That shouldn’t happen this time. Can go close.

Value bet: JACQUINOT (Race 6, No.1 – $5)

JETT HATTON (Racenet)

LA CRIQUE (Race 8, No.14 – $2.40)

Excellent first-up in the Tarzino Trophy then bolted in last start in the Group 1 Arrowfield Stud Plate and the form out of the race has been franked with Mustang Valley winning the Group 1 Livamol Classic by five lengths. The Kiwi’s are flying over here, she gets James McDonald on and draws a good barrier.

Value bet: MY BROTHERS KEEPER (Race 1, No.13 – $41)

ROSEHILL

RAY THOMAS (Daily Telegraph)

MARS MISSION (Race 5, No.9 – $2.90)

Mars Mission drew wide and got back in the field early before finishing fast for a close third at the Warwick Farm midweeks when resuming earlier this month. The Team Hawkes-trained sprinter got into an awkward position and didn’t have a lot of galloping room in the straight and was a touch unlucky. The promising sprinter strips fitter, will be better suited on the drier Rosehill track, is drawn to get the perfect run and is well in at the weights after the claim.

Value bet: GYPSY GODDESS (Race 8, No.17 – $18)

ADAM SHERRY (Sportsman)

LOST AND RUNNING (Race 7, No.7 – $2.60)

Was scratched from The Everest unfortunately when lame on the morning of the race but he can get some redemption here. Has trialled nicely since and is drawn ideally.

Value bet: ARBITRATION (Race 10, No.8 – $7.50)

EAGLE FARM

TRENTON AKERS (Courier Mail)

YELLOW BRICK (Race 6, No.1 – $2.60)

Is building a nice winning record and gets in nicely at the weights here with Angela Jones claiming 2kg from barrier four in what doesn’t look a deep race.

Value bet: LOVE IS BLIND (Race 5, No.1 – $23)
