Golden Slipper winner Lady Of Camelot will head to Melbourne to continue her chase for a start in The Everest next month.
Lady Of Camelot ran second in the Blue Diamond Stakes in February before narrowly winning the Golden Slipper over Victorian colt Coleman in March.
The Written Tycoon filly finished second in a Randwick trial on Monday, which co-trainer Gai Waterhouse said was the first step towards her racetrack return next month.

The Valley will host the rescheduled Moir Stakes on September 7 as part of a plan to provide improved lead-up options to The Everest in Sydney and the Champions Sprint at Flemington.
Waterhouse, who trains Lady Of Camelot in partnership with Adrian Bott, said Lady Of Camelot would have another trial in Sydney before heading south for a couple of gallops to get acquainted with The Valley circuit.

“We’ll get her fit first,” Waterhouse said.
“She had her first trial on Monday at Randwick and we’ll give her another trial before we bring her down.
“I would love to get her into The Everest, Sir Owen (Glenn) would also love to have her there.”

While Lady Of Camelot will resume in the Moir Stakes, Waterhouse said $50m colt Storm Boy would tackle the Group 1 Golden Rose in Sydney before heading to Melbourne.
Waterhouse said Storm Boy, who will stand at Coolmore Stud once his racing career is over, was perfectly suited to the 1600m of the Caulfield Guineas.
Storm Boy wasn’t disgraced when fourth to Broadsiding in the Group 1 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes at his only crack at 1400m but Waterhouse said 1600m would bring out the best in the son of Justify.

“I think you’ll see him really come to hand over a mile,” Waterhouse said.
“He’s going for the Golden Rose then he’ll come down.
“It’s good for Europe to see he can run a mile.
“If you’re making stallions, you’ve got to come for the Caulfield Guineas.
“There’s no use saying anything else, it’s for stallions as is the Coolmore up the straight.
“The Golden Rose in Sydney as well, they’re the stallion-making races for the sprinter and middle-distance horses.”
Storm Boy is the $6 second favourite in TAB’s early market on the Caulfield Guineas, which will be held on October 12.
