BEST BET
ELECTRIC TOMMY (Race 6 No.2 – $3.80)
Electric Tommy has shown ability in his two spaced runs and his recent Balnarring jumpout showed a forward showing is likely.
NEXT BEST
VERHOEVEN (Race 3 No.5 – $4)
Verhoeven was OK at Sandown and should have finished a bit closer at Geelong. Expecting him to improve at Moe.
ROYSTON (Race 2 No.3 – $8)
The Mick Price and Michael Kent Jr-trained galloper closed well late on debut at Sale. He’ll be better for the experience and the longer trip.
VALUE BET
BURTON STREET (Race 5 No.2 – $10)
The seven-year-old was too good for his opposition last time out and has won three of four over the Moe 1200m course. He’ll go close again.
THE JOCKEY
THOMAS STOCKDALE
Jockey Thomas Stockdale heads to Moe for nine rides on Thursday. TILL DUSK (Race 1 No.10 – $31), ROYSTON (Race 2 No.3 – $8), RATTLE’N’ROLL (Race 3 No.3 – $10), ARSENALE (Race 4 No.9 – $26), WALTER SPUR (Race 5 No.3 – $6), ELECTRIC TOMMY (Race 6 No.2 – $4), JUNGLE SENSATION (Race 7 No.1 – $26), BROADFIELD (Race 8 No.9 – $13), EYE FOR AN EYE (Race 9 No.3 – $2.25).
