Fire Tribe chased well in a pleasing first-up effort at Benalla. He’ll be much fitter for that and should be harder to hold out.

KNOBELAS (Race 4 No. 14 – $5.50)

The New Zealand-bred filly has had a bit of time leading up to her debut and has gone well at the jumpouts. She could fire on debut.

FLITGROVE (Race 8 No. 6 – $5)

Flitgrove has raced handy and been thereabouts at both runs this time in. She’s down in class and will be harder to run down.
