TOREGENE (Race 9 No.11 – $2.60)

Toregene had a good run before getting the money in heavy ground first-up. She’s a talented mare that will only be fitter and should go close again.

NEXT BEST

SONGMAN (Race 1 No.2 – $2.40)

Songman gave a start and closed well when not far away on debut at Mornington. He’s up in trip and the bigger track could help him over the line.

HIGH EMOCEAN (Race 7 No.3 – $2.70)

Hard to go past as the top pick in the Bendigo Cup after a couple of excellent efforts at Flemington. She doesn’t mind it wet and will find this easier.

Noble Nightowl was too quick for his opposition at Benalla last time out. He’s had a month between runs and he’ll again give his opposition something to chase.
