First-up in six months but debut performance, second at Sandown last April, good enough to be winning here.

NEXT BEST

BEDFORD ESTATE (R1 No.1 – $3.30)

Great return at Mornington, third beaten less than half a length, first-up in 12 months. Extra 100m looks ideal.

INVINCIBLE CAVIAR (R5 No.9 – $2.50)

Daughter of the legend won nicely at Sale last start. Back on home deck and placed to advantage.

VALUE BETS

FIELDS OF JOY (R2 No.1 – $11)

Four-year-old debutant and well-trialled but looked good in most recent effort, urged along to run second with ears pricked. Bit green still but can gallop.

JET DE LUNE (R10 No.3 – $11)

Last start Casterton maiden winner bowled along on speed and won well. This is tougher but could take some catching.
