News Corp form analyst Brad Waters runs the rule over Thursday’s card at Sale.
BEST BET
SOCIABEEL (Race 4 No.12 – $3)
Sociabeel ran on well when resuming and got too far back at Cranbourne second-up. She’s up in trip and the bigger track will ensure she improves sharply at Sale.
NEXT BEST
DAKARAI (Race 2 No.2 – $2.70)
Dakarai hit the line strongly when beaten less than a length at Geelong on debut. He’ll be much better for that experience and should go closer this time.
THE DUKE OF DUBAI (Race 8 No.5 – $4.20)
The Duke Of Dubai found plenty when fighting on well to score narrowly at Sandown second-up and he’ll be fitter for that. Expecting him to be around the mark again.
VALUE BET
FEUDAL EMPIRE (Race 5 No.6 – $10)
Feudal Empire showed his right form when hitting the line well at Echuca after a disappointing city run. He won his maiden over 1200m and should be thereabouts.
THE JOCKEY
DANIEL STACKHOUSE
Daniel Stackhouse has ridden more winners at Sale than anyone else in recent years. He has five rides on Thursday.
MORNING DARLING (Race 2 No.13 – $31), DO I (Race 3 No.3 – $23), KARAKA LAD (Race 5 No.2 – $2.60), RIPPLEBROOK (Race 7 No.2 – $7), THE DUKE OF DUBAI (Race 8 No.5 – $4.20)
