Mornington tips: Midnight Charm the best bet of Thursday’s Mornington races

MIDNIGHT CHARM (Race 8 No.4 – $5.50)

Midnight Charm was an easy debut winner last time in and has had more time to develop. Expecting him to resume with a home-track win.

NEXT BEST

BAY THIRTEEN (Race 1 No.8 – $2.10)

Bay Thirteen has drawn wide on Thursday but her strong runs last time in showed she has the talent to overcome the gate. She trialled well leading up to this.

NAICONI (Race 4 No.9 – $3.30)

Naiconi wasn’t disgraced behind the smart Crosswinds on debut in the autumn. She’s had more time to develop and can make a winning return.

QUEEN OF THE GREEN (Race 9 No.17 – $6.50)

Valuable filly that strode to a strong debut win at Geelong. She faces tougher opposition at Mornington but should measure up.

SINGLE TAIL (Race 6 No.11 – $17)

Single Tail was OK on the synthetic track first-up but expecting sharp improvement back on her home track second-up. More ground suits here.
