THERE can be no argument the biggest union during the past few days is of newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
But the partnership of jockey Linda Meech and trainer Ciaron Maher deserves special mention with the pair amassing five winners at two provincial meetings from just five runners.
Meech, riding in career best form, saluted twice at Kilmore on Friday for the Maher stable with Encanto and Grand Crown.

She continued the pattern at Mildura on Monday on Roland Garros in the opening race, Yulong February in the third and Lagerfeld in race seven.
And punters had wised up with the trio well supported in betting.
The procession started on Friday when Meech, who has 102 winners for the season and tops the Victorian jockeys’ premiership by seven, booted home four winners and narrowly missed out on two other occasions when runner-up.

Meech also chimed in with a winner at Casterton on Sunday, but was on the receiving end of an eight-meeting suspension for failing to ride Erector out to the finish in the sixth race.
Her suspension starts at midnight and sees her sidelined until Sunday.
