INSIDE MAIL – KEMBLA

RACE 1

Wandaye settled back in the field and worked home well for third behind a couple of handy ones in She Conquers and Roman Script when resuming at Hawkesbury. Will be better for the run and is a leading chance. Zounaka debuted in the Sweet Embrace. Handy efforts in her three runs last time in including a second to Spirit Of Wealth at Newcastle. Stable is going well. Miss Jones worked early before fading when seventh on debut as a $1.60 fav at Newcastle. Had trialled well prior and worth another chance.

Bet: Wandaye to win

RACE 2

She Conquers kicked off her preparation with a smart win in a Midway Maiden at Hawkesbury. Made her debut at this track and distance when a closing third behind Island Dec in June. Will be charging home again. Invincible Woman resumed with a big win at Canberra before a length third to Art’s Alive over this track and trip on Dec 12. Winkers go on. Idle Flyer was doing her best work late when fifth on debut before a good win here in July. Nice trial win last month.

Bet: She Conquers to win

RACE 3

Heesen was specked from $7.50 into $6.50 on debut at Canterbury off the back of two handy trials. Raced behind the leader and beat just one home. Blinkers go on and worth another chance. Zeljko is a first starter by Snitzel and is a sister to Wakeful Stakes winner Zennzella. Has been good in her trials and should carry that to her debut. Bendroot resumes for his second campaign. Was a handy third to Canny Queen on debut at Wyong.

Bet: Heesen to win

RACE 4

Imposing Pier was a handy fourth behind Clear Proof and Axius on debut on the Kensington before a second at Hawkesbury on Aug 1 to Dawn Service who went on to win a stakes race two starts later. Kept wide and under a hold when third in his Kensington trial. Reasonable boxed on for a close second to Isla Negra at Hawkesbury before a second to Steamboatricky on the Beaumont last start. Has shown enough to win a race. Mia Ballerina has trialled nicely in her two recent heats and should make her presence felt.

Bet: Imposing Pier to win

RACE 5

Magic Stalker debuted with a smart win by nearly a length-and-a-half at Tamworth and followed up with an even more impressive win by over five lengths from Tigon Princess at Scone. Stays at the 1600m and can make it a hat-trick. Stablemate Sweet Proposal also followed her maiden win with a Class 1 win last campaign. Battled away for third to Candlewick first-up before a fourth to Perfumist at Canterbury in a Bm72. Edmond was good first-up behind Sly Boots at Warwick Farm. Has a good second-up record.

Bet: Magic Stalker to win

RACE 6

Swelter has returned an improved filly this campaign and was good in finishing a three-quarter length second to California Waves at Hawkesbury over 1300m. The granddaughter of Unearthly should appreciate the step up to 1600m. Bearings came from well back and closed strongly to finish a nose second behind Garland Of Roses over 1500m first-up at Goulburn. Autumn Aroha raced wide and kept fighting to finish a nose away third in that same Goulburn race.

Bet: Swelter to win

RACE 7

Fumiko got a long way back but made up some ground when tenth to Justela in a record run 1400m Midway at Kembla on The Gong Day. Solid efforts in easier grade over 1200m at her first two starts since coming to NSW. Back in grade and trip. C'mon Mate was rewarded for his consistent form with a half-length win from Burj here last week. On a quick back-up and drawn to get an ideal run again. Power Of The Brave resumes from a spell and is trialling well.

Bet: Fumiko each-way

RACE 8

Rickythesteamboat ran home strongly from last to finish a half-length fourth to Arriving Home at Warwick Farm first-up before breaking through with a solid win from Reasonable over 1350m on the Beaumont. Will go close again. Cape Byron will take improvement from his first-up third behind Bartolf and Shelstein over 1250m on the Beaumont on Dec 19. Extra trip will suit. Autumn Dream showed good fight to win from Hurry Miss at Warwick Farm on debut. Chance if she runs here.

Bet: Rickythesteamboat to win
