News Corp form analyst Brad Waters runs the rule over Wednesday’s Sale meeting.

BEST BET

BARRETTA (Race 8 No.6 – $3)

Made a great impression with his first-up win last time in and he trialled well in wet ground leading up to this. Expecting a fresh win.

NEXT BEST

ENTREMET (Race 1 No.8 – $5)

Entremet was a dominant synthetic winner first-up but showed ability on the turf last time in. She can measure up to this.

DAKARAI (Race 2 No.7 – $3.70)

Dakarai has shown plenty of talent this time in and was close-up in a good form race at Sandown. He’ll be hard to beat again.

VALUE BET

JET DE LUNE (Race 3 No.13 – $8.50)

Jet De Lune pushed forward and fought on well first-up. Fitter for this and should be harder to run down this time.

THE JOCKEY

DAMIEN OLIVER

Damien Oliver has four rides at Sale and should go close with most of them. DAKARAI (Race 2 No.7 – $3.70), PARIS AFFAIR (Race 4 No.8 – $3.70), WEGOBAM (Race 7 No.8 – $9), BARRETTA (Race 8 No.6 – $3) or RACE CARD (Race 8 No.16).
