Herald Sun sports photographer Michael Klein’s best shots of 2019

Herald Sun sports photographer Michael Klein has had a front-row seat to the biggest moments of the year from the AFL Grand Final the Presidents Cup. Here are his best shots.

Herald Sun sports photographer Michael Klein has had a front-row seat to the biggest moments of the past 12 months, from the AFL Grand Final to the Presidents Cup and the Boxing Day Test.

His job also takes him on some more unusual assignments including joining Richmond’s Daniel Rioli when he took the premiership cup home to the Tiwi Islands, and to sports from motor racing to fencing.

Klein wrote today on Twitter: “Shooting sport for the Herald Sun opens so many doors to shoot a wide variety of world class sporting events. Here are some of my favourite pics of 2019.”
