Shocking footage has emerged of a brawl which broke out between two groups of golfers after one group reportedly kept hitting their balls at another.
The incident took place on the Riverway Golf Course in British Columbia, Canada.
A video from the shocking incident shows one man on top of another saying “I’m here to stop you”, while the rest of the party looks on.
The brawl then escalates when a man from one of the two groups attempts to kick another man in the head.
The man who threw the kick then slips to the floor and is set upon by two members of the other group.
The bizarre bust-up was then brought to a halt after a man yelled at those fighting to “stop” before uttering a slur as he said: “Are you guys r******d?”
According to police, the fight began at 10:40am local time after “one group of golfers had allegedly almost hit the other group with their ball on several occasions”.
The kerfuffle started as a verbal disagreement but soon escalated to physical violence.
According to local cops one woman sustained injuries after being pushed to the ground.
Both parties were escorted off the grounds after police arrived.
Investigators are currently trawling through witness statements and the viral video as they decide whether to press charges.
Reacting to the viral video on X, one fan asked: “How do you even get in a fight on the golf course?”
Another said: “Nothing like a punch up on the golf course!”
