Two superstar Aussie sporting siblings could be in for a profile boost as feature acts in the third season of a Netflix sporting hit.

Minjee Lee has opened up on the “in your face” experience of having cameras follow her every move when she was with her superstar brother Min Woo for the upcoming season of Netflix’s breakout hit Full Swing.

Two-time major champion Minjee is the reserved, introverted polar opposite to her extroverted younger brother who has a legion of social media followers that attracted the show’s makers to him.

The superstar siblings will join the likes of world No.1 Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau in the third instalment of the fly-on-the-wall series, which elevated the profile of players much like “Drive to Survive” did for Formula 1.

Minjee, preparing for this week’s Founders Cup in Florida, her second event for 2025 after storming home with a final round 10-under last weekend using a broomstick putter for the first time, said the show would reveal some “behind the scenes” aspects of her and her brother’s golfing journey.

“There was a few times they came out, once to my place for a few interviews and I think they came out to Shadow Creek when we played the match play and my brother was following me around,” Minjee said.

“And also one other time at one of Min’s events, so got a little bit of everything, and I feel like I’m probably going to be the first LPGA player to feature in the Full Swing, so hopefully it opens the doors to other LPGA players getting on a few of the episodes.

“I feel like maybe because it was more behind the scenes and I guess not many people have seen me go to Min Woo’s tournaments and how I would react when he’s playing or how he reacts when I’m playing. Maybe that would be a little bit of fun, something different that not many people have seen before.”

Minjee, who has been as ranked as high as world No.2 but went winless in 2024, the first time in five years, also opened up on her move to the long putter, the same used by Adam Scott for more than a decade, labelling it a “new adventure” to enhance her game.

“I think the putter itself doesn’t look that different to me because I was kind of using a similar head shape,” she said.

“Just where more my hands are on the shaft and obviously it’s longer so you’re a bit up taller, so the way you look at the hole is a little bit different.

“It’s just kind of a new adventure. I have never done it before. It’s something that doesn’t feel too unnatural to me. I feel like over time I’ll get much more comfortable and probably much more confident with all the length of like putts.”

Minjee also said there was a good reaction to the LPGA’s action on slow play, with more stroke penalties likely in 2025 rather than fines.

“I think it’s great. I would probably say that something had to be done at some point,” she said.

“It’s 2025 and we are just implementing a little bit harsher rules to start with, and it’s going to be a great policy.

“Then hopefully we can go from strength to strength and get a little bit more and more quicker.”
