Gisele ‘not happy’ as private Brady-Shayk photo goes viral

A private photo has exposed a wild twist to the “malicious rumour” surrounding the Tom Brady-Gisele Bündchen love triangle.

Gisele Bündchen is reportedly none too pleased that her ex-husband, Tom Brady, is shacking up with Irina Shayk, The New York Post reports.

TMZ reported on Tuesday (AEST) that the former Victoria’s Secret Angel is “not happy at all” about photographs of the retired NFL quarterback looking cozy with Shayk over the weekend.

The photo has sparked headlines around the world and poured fuel on the swirling, romantic rumours surrounding the pair.

Citing a second source close to the Brazilian model, the outlet also reports Brady’s new romance will be “helpful to her freedom”.

A management representative for Bündchen — who was the one who pushed for the divorce — didn’t immediately return The New York Post’s request for comment.

Perhaps adding insult to injury is the fact that news of Brady’s burgeoning relationship with the Russian model broke just days after Bündchen’s 43rd birthday.

As previously reported by The New York Post, Brady, 45, picked up Shayk from the Hotel Bel-Air Friday afternoon and then drove them to his Los Angeles home.

The duo didn’t emerge until the next morning when Brady dropped off Shayk, 37, back at her hotel.

It was first reported in June that Shayk “threw herself” at the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers player at the wedding of Joe Nahmad and Madison Headrick.

“She followed him around all weekend,” said an insider of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model.

“She was throwing herself at him.”

Shayk’s rep later said the account was “totally fictional,” but now it looks like there’s really nothing stranger than fiction.

The Daily Mailreported last month that a person close to Brady believed the American was not romantically interested in Shayk.

Vice President of The Society Management Cheri Bowen, who acts on Bundchen’s behalf, also told the outlet at the time: “This story is completely false. It is a totally malicious and fictional account of the evening”.

The Russian beauty’s most high-profile relationship was with Bradley Cooper, with whom she shares 6-year-old daughter Lea De Seine. The pair dated from 2015 to 2019.

Brady, meanwhile, was married to Bündchen for 13 years before divorcing in October 2022.

They share son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10.

Brady also has son Jack, 15, with ex Bridget Moynahan.

The New England Patriots cult hero was briefly rumoured to be dating recently single Reese Witherspoon following his divorce, but both camps quickly shut down the hearsay, saying the duo had never even met.

He was also linked to Kim Kardashian, but sources maintain they’re just friends.
