Sam Newman has come out firing on social media over a clash with teen skateboarders, who he claims refused to stop skating near his Docklands apartment.
The outspoken Footy Show star has released new footage of the confrontation this morning, where he calmly approaches the boys and asks them to move on.

Newman told his Instagram and Twitter followers that the new vision was the ‘real conversation’ between himself and the skateboarders, and a stark contrast to what has previously been reported.
The video, appeared to be filmed by Newman, shows one of the skaters in conversation with him.
“I know you won’t find that easy to understand, but see if you can take it as said: There’s a sign (no skateboarding) there for a reason … if you understand it, how about you take some notice of it,” says Newman off camera.

“You don’t have to agree with everything you understand,” one of the boys says.
Newman responds: “That’s just not logical mate. It’s impossible to have a conversation with someone whose not logical.”
The boy then tells Newman: “We’re not trying to have a conversation, we’re just trying to skate.”
When Newman suggests the boys skate in a different part of the Docklands, one says they had already been ‘kicked out’ from skating on those stairs.
Earlier Newman refused to apologise after being filmed ripping a skateboard from teens in a scuffle.
Footage shows Newman telling the group not to skate on the steps at Docklands before the tug of war.
In a video taken by one of the boys, the group can be heard asking Newman: “Dude, are you police? Are you authorised to take the law into your own hands? Tell me that.”

Newman told Channel 7 he was refusing to apologise and that he had footage which showed him calmly approaching the boys before asking them to move on.
A friend of the boy in the scuffle said Newman’s elbow connected with the boy’s face as he tried to rip the skateboard away.
“His aggression, I suppose, ramped up a little bit when we didn’t sort of listen to what he was saying,” the friend said.
Newman told 3AW he did not elbow the young man in the scuffle.
“They lied by saying I struck him with my elbow. I did nothing of the sort. He manhandled me as much as I manhandled him,” he said.
Newman added there was a skatepark 200m away from where the incident occurred.
“I pointed out that there’s a sign there for a reason,” he said.
“They said they understood the reason — that they chip all the stones and they deface all the public seats, and there’s skateboards shooting out when they jump over a set of stairs.
“And so they say ‘Oh yes, we understand that’, so I walk away, and sure enough they come back and do it.
“That’s when I said to them, ‘If you do it again I’ll throw your skateboard in the river’.
“He did it again so I grabbed the skateboard.”
Newman said he never intended to throw the skateboard into the river, “but when the bloke thought I was going to, that got his attention and that’s when the scuffle started”.
In 2007, Newman was caught in another argument with a group skating in a similar spot at Docklands.
He has been contacted for comment.
