Harry Kewell and Mark Viduka selected by former Leeds teammate Paul Robinson in best EPL side

AN ex-teammate of former Socceroos stars Harry Kewell and Mark Viduka has given them a huge wrap by selecting them in his ultimate EPL teammates XI.

“SOME days Viduka was unplayable.”

That’s the verdict handed down by former Leeds, Tottenham and Blackburn goalkeeper Paul Robinson, who has selected Mark Viduka in a best XI of ex-teammates from his 371-game Premier League career.

Viduka and Robinson played together at Leeds during the club’s flirtation with the EPL summit in the early 2000s. Another member of the exciting outfit was Harry Kewell, who also earned a place in Robinson’s side.

There was no room for fellow Aussies Lucas Neill and Brett Emerton, teammates of Robinson during his time at Blackburn, in his ultimate XI.

While often occupying the best seat in the house at Elland Road as Kewell and Viduka caused havoc at the opposite end, Robinson was also once on the receiving end of their Aussie assault. His international debut for England came in their infamous 3-1 loss to the Socceroos in 2003.

But those memories didn’t stop the pair being key figures of his select EPL XI which also includes defenders Rio Ferdinand and Ledley King, current Everton winger Aaron Lennon and LA Galaxy striker Robbie Keane.
