Fans of The Front Bar are in for a treat this month as the hit show returns to TV screens for two cricket specials. Here’s when to watch it.

Ratings hit The Front Bar will return to TV screens this month for two cricket specials.

The Channel 7 program — which features comedians Mick Molloy and Sam Pang and broadcaster Andy Maher — was introduced in 2017 and has become a fan favourite among AFL supporters.

Molloy revealed on Wednesday the program would return on Thursday, November 21 after the opening day of Australia’s first Test against Pakistan.

“We have got big names, so this will be national, Front Bar Cricket,” Molloy told Triple M.

“Some of the guests, think of some of your favourite cricketers over the journey.”

A second show will be on November 28, the night before the second of two Tests against Pakistan.

Molloy said former Australian captain Ricky Ponting would be a feature guest.

The panel show has previously hosted editions covering the 2018 Winter Olympics and Commonwealth Games.

The Front Bar has been a ratings winner since it was put head-to-head with Channel 9’s axed The Footy Show.

Molloy detailed the show’s humble beginnings in an interview with the Herald Sun in September, saying he once feared the program was “cooked”.

Australia’s Test series against New Zealand starts on December 12 in Perth.
