England’s super-over hero Jofra Archer can raise his crystal ball aloft as well as the World Cup - after his eerie prediction tweets from up to six years ago came true in the most amazing final ever.
Paceman Archer bowled the extra six balls at Lord’s for 15 when New Zealand needed 16 for victory - having mysteriously tweeted “16 from 6” in 2013 and “wouldn’t mind a super over” two years later.
Surely no-one could have predicted such a finale after England sneaked freaky late runs to tie with the Black Caps’ 50-over total of 241.

But Archer made a pretty good job of it - leaving fans hailing his “unreal” predictions and asking if he had “supernatural powers”.
The Barbadian-born new superstar must have feared defeat for England when Jimmy Neesham smashed him for six to leave New Zealand needed just three off the final two super-over balls.
After the Black Caps scrambled a single, Jason Roy ran out Martin Guptill as New Zealand attempted a Cup-winning second run off the final delivery.
That left both two teams on 15 - but England victorious courtesy of hitting more boundaries.
And it was the ultimate denouement to a trio of uncanny tweets from Archer, 24.
His “16 from 6” message six years ago met with astounded responses on Twitter.
One fan joked “you need to be locked up in Area 51” but another said: “He predicts his own future.”
Other ancient tweets from Archer got the same treatment.
He posted this bold message in May 2014: “Want to go to Lord’s.”
That sparked replies in the past week over his oracle-like qualities.
Comments included: “Time traveller”, “Real God” and “Archer - Future Predictor.”
Most amazingly, though, Archer posted “wouldn’t mind a super over” in July 2015.
