WITH 100 days to go until the start of the ICC World Cup, organisers are releasing extra tickets on Thursday to three matches in Australia where no seats are currently available.
Heading the list is the India v Pakistan blockbuster at the Adelaide Oval on February 15, one of the most highly anticipated fixtures of the Cup.
Organisers will release more tickets to all tournament matches at noon on Thursday, including the India and West Indies battle at the WACA on March 6 and the Australia v Sri Lanka showdown in Sydney two days later – where tickets were previously exhausted.
The initial batch of tickets to the India and Pakistan rivalry game were gone within 20 minutes, and organisers are expecting a similar rush today.
There are also opportunities for fans to snap up tickets to in-demand matches in New Zealand, including Australia’s clash with the Black Caps at Eden Park on February 28.
Tickets available at www.cricketworldcup.com at noon AEDT.
