Don't miss out on the headlines from SuperCoach BBL. Followed categories will be added to My News.
The first SuperCoach BBL lock out hits on Tuesday night.
But the beauty about Round 1 is a rolling lockout means you make unlimited trades involving six of the eight Big Bash League sides beyond the BBL opener.
SuperCoach BBL has a rolling lockout each round and only players who have already featured are unable to be traded.
As soon as the first game of BBL09 between Brisbane Heat and Sydney Thunder starts at the Gabba, players from those teams will be locked into your SuperCoach BBL sides.
If you want Chris Lynn, Tom Banton, Daniel Sams or Alex Hales, don’t leave it too late!
Here’s how the rolling lockout works and how you can maximise your chances of nailing your starting team.
Game 1: Brisbane Heat v Sydney Thunder, Tuesday night from 7.10pm (Times in AEDT)
Heat and Thunder players are locked out as soon as this match starts. That means you can’t move them between your bench and field or use them in trades. Players from any of the other six teams — Sixers, Scorchers, Strikers, Renegades, Stars and Hurricanes — can still be traded. You’ll have unlimited trades featuring these six teams until 7.10pm on Wednesday.
Five stars still in play: Marcus Stoinis, D’Arcy Short, Tom Curran, Aaron Finch, Sean Abbott
Game 2: Sydney Sixers v Perth Scorchers, Wednesday night from 7.10pm
The three teams with double game weeks in Round 1 will be locked out when the Sixers’ match starts. Perth Scorchers have a double game week in Round 3 and will be popular for those planning ahead. You can continue to make unlimited changes involving the Renegades, Hurricanes, Stars and Strikers.
Five stars still in play: Marcus Stoinis, D’Arcy Short, Aaron Finch, Qais Ahmad, Shaun Marsh
Game 3: Melbourne Renegades v Sydney Thunder, Thursday night from 7.10pm
Thunder players will already be locked into your team and now the Renegades will too. You can still make moves involving the Hurricanes, Strikers and Stars despite the round being midway through.
Five stars still in play: Marcus Stoinis, D’Arcy Short, Qais Ahmad, Glenn Maxwell, Dale Steyn

Game 5: Brisbane Heat v Melbourne Stars, Friday night from 7.10pm
The Heat are back in the last game of the round when we get our first look at BBL08 finalist Melbourne Stars.
