MELBOURNE Renegades are set to roll out the Big Bash League’s most experienced line-up with evergreen batsman Brad Hodge likely to join spinner Brad Hogg at Etihad Stadium.

The Gades could unveil Hodge, who turns 43 next month, as their newest star signing as early as Tuesday.

The long-time Victorian favourite will return home after two summers at the Adelaide Strikers.

Hogg, who turns 47 two days after February’s BBL final, re-signed for a second summer at the Renegades after recovering from knee surgery earlier this year.

And boom teenager Will Sutherland is set to be lined up on a Big Bash rookie contract, either at the Renegades or arch-rival Melbourne Stars.

Sutherland’s younger sister Annabel spent last summer at the Renegades.

But on Monday night it emerged she was considering a move to the Stars, where brother Will would likely join her.

Annabel made her WBBL debut for the Gades at just 15 last summer — the youngest girl to ever feature in the league.

Will Sutherland shaped as a top-five AFL draft prospect and represented Vic Metro in this year’s under-18 national championships before giving footy the boot.

Sutherland collected 4-11 in Victoria’s crushing one-day win against NSW last month.

The son of Cricket Australia chief executive James Sutherland is also expected to help Australia chase January’s under-19 World Cup in New Zealand.

Hodge powered up the Renegades’ top order in BBL01 but then defected to arch-rival Melbourne Stars. He averages 36.9 at a strike-rate of 131.3 across 270 Twenty20 games.

The Melbourne clubs have retained their international imports.

Dwayne Bravo and Sunil Narine (West Indies) will jet in for the Renegades while Kevin Pietersen and Luke Wright (England) return for the Stars.

John Hastings will captain the Stars following David Hussey’s retirement with Ben Dunk (Strikers) the green team’s key addition.
