Boxing Day Test Day 1: Aussies fall apart in idiotic scenes
Australia was in complete control of the fourth Test before multiple idiotic decisions cost it dearly and opened the door for India.
Stumps have been called to end an entertaining and at times controversial first day of the Boxing Day Test at the MCG.
Teenager Sam Konstas’ stunning 60 from 65 balls on debut had the sporting world talking, while Virat Kohli’s baffling move to bump the young opener is a talking point that still has more to play out.
There has been suggestions of a fine or even a suspension for the Indian veteran, who didn’t take kindly to Konstas hitting the tourist’s attack to all parts of the ground.

The series is tied 1-1 and India needs to win just one of the remaining two matches to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, although Australia winning its first toss of the series and reaching 6/311 at stumps has put a little heat on the visitors.
Konstas, Usman Khawaja (57), Marnus Labuschagne (72) and Steve Smith (68 not out) all got 50s on an encouraging display of batting from the top four.
But Jasprit Bumrah’s 3/75, and the fact none of the top order have registered a century thus far, means this Test match is wide open for either team.
