BRITISH netballer Ama Agbeze gave her English Roses teammates a special keepsake from the Commonwealth Games.
The netballers will go home with crocheted dolls in their likeness after being presented with the gift at a fan meet and greet at The Star this week.

Keen to learn to crochet herself, Agbeze enlisted the help of a woman named Geri Powell to make the dolls.
“This sport gives you so much more than netball," British player Serena Guthrie wrote on Instagram, sharing a picture of her doll. “I am truly blessed.”
The netballers met with around 120 fans at The Star’s Celebration Lawn — many of whom had flown in from the UK for the games — happily taking pics and showing off their dolls.
While several events have already wrapped for the games, the netball semi-finals will be held over the coming days in the lead up to Sunday’s finals.
