The 2022 season may have ended in heartbreak against Collingwood, but Patrick Cripps’ triumphant Brownlow Medal win is something for Blues fans to cherish.
In a thrilling count, it came down to that final round with Cripps polling three votes for his 35-disposal performance in the loss to the Magpies, to finish on 29 votes – one ahead of Brisbane star Lachie Neale.
