Furious Molly-Mae Hague dumped boxer Tommy Fury after confronting him over claims that he cheated with a Danish woman he met during a holiday with mates, a source close to the couple has claimed.

Friends said the couple — who hooked up on Love Island in 2019 and earn millions from their influential social media channels — had an explosive showdown at their £4 million (AU$7.77m) Cheshire home, The Sun reports.

One pal opened up as glum Molly-Mae, 25, was seen for the first time since the split in her Mercedes at a McDonald’s drive-thru.

The friend said: “She was told he had cheated on her with a Danish woman he’d met while he was away in Macedonia. She didn’t want to believe it was true.

“When she confronted him and asked if he had cheated on her, Tommy didn’t deny it.

“It told Molly-Mae all she needed to know, and she ended it. He’s moved out of the house and she’s absolutely reeling from it all.”

Molly-Mae, who gave birth to the couple’s daughter Bambi in January last year, was looking forward to their wedding — amid plans for it to be filmed for Amazon.

Now those close to her say she is instead expecting more women to come forward claiming to have had flings with Tommy.

There are even rumours online that he could have fathered a child with one. Friends said Molly-Mae was not aware of the speculation.

A pal said: “Molly-Mae thinks he’s done the dirty before and that cheating with the Danish woman could be the tip of the iceberg. She’s bracing herself for what is to come.

“Tommy often goes away for either boxing matches or training camps, or just on holiday with his friends, and she thinks that if it’s happened now, it’s probably happened before, too.

“Given Tommy didn’t deny it, she feels like her worst fears have been confirmed.”

Molly-Mae admitted last year that she feared Tommy, the 25-year-old brother of ex-world champion Tyson Fury, had been unfaithful.

She told millions of social media followers that he had become protective about his phone. She added: “My mind did somersaults. I thought, ‘Why is he shady about his phone, who’s he talking to?’

“My mind went to the worst option. I was staring out the window like I was in a sad movie.”

Their relationship was also said to have been put under strain by Tommy increasingly heading off with pals. A friend said: “Molly-Mae lives a quiet life and was happiest at home with Tommy and their daughter.

“Tommy likes to party, though, and when he’s not training he would be drinking a lot.

“She feels like a total fool. She has been left at home holding the baby while he went out and cheated.”

The couple were photographed together at Molly-Mae’s sister’s wedding last month. And, just hours before Molly-Mae went public on Wednesday, Tommy shared a snap of them at a cafe.

A friend said: “Molly-Mae has been completely crushed. She thought she could trust Tommy completely.

“As far as she’s concerned, Tommy knows what he’s done to her and now he has to face up to it.

“His family, including Tyson and his wife Paris, were like family to Molly-Mae too — and this has been a huge shock for everyone.” In her announcement to her 7.9 million Instagram followers, Molly-Mae said: “Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this.

“After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.

“I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.

“I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter.”

Tommy posted his own statement afterwards. Apparently trying to make their break-up look mutual, he wrote: “I am heartbroken to share that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship.

“The past 5 years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi, & I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority.”

It is understood he moved out on Tuesday to stay with friends. Yesterday he posted, then deleted, a shot of him sparring in a gym. Last night The Sun contacted Tommy’s representatives, who had not responded.

Meanwhile Molly-Mae’s pals, including Luke Shaw’s girlfriend Anouska Santos, have rallied around her. Molly-Mae’s dad Stephen was seen at her home.

One friend said: “Molly-Mae doesn’t want to be drawn into a public slanging match with Tommy.

“They still have a lot to talk about but for now she’s too angry.

“She’s focused on being the best mother she can be.” After coupling up on Love Island, Molly-Mae and Tommy went on to become a hugely influential brand.

While he pursued a boxing career, winning all ten of his professional fights, Molly launched a successful fake tan brand and is paid six-figure sums to promote other brands on her social media channels.

Her YouTube channel has 1.86 million subscribers, with each video getting between 500,000 and 700,000 views. An Instagram account she set up purely to feature their house has more than 1.5 million followers online.

This year it was revealed Molly-Mae had banked more than £3 million (AU$5.8m) and has £5.3 million (AU$10.2m) of assets in her companies thanks to deals with companies including L’Oreal.
