A fired up Brock Jarvis has promised to end Hassan Hamdan’s career and says he loves hearing his former best mate “bitching and moaning” as the ugliest feud in Australian boxing takes another turn.

In a stunning tirade, Jarvis also called his longtime training partner “a slow learner” after tensions flared between the two Sydney boxers following news Jarvis had reunited with trainer Jeff Fenech.

Jarvis and Hamdan were nearly inseparable for several years, and sparred dozens of rounds with each other as they both trained under Aussie boxing great Fenech.

Hamdan even sat in his Jarvis’ corner for his mate’s American debut in 2021.

They fell out in the wake of Jarvis’ first round knockout loss to Liam Paro in 2022 though, and have barely spoken since.

Hamdan said he felt “stabbed in the back” when he heard about the Jarvis-Fenech reunion in this masthead, just months after Fenech told him he could no longer train him due to health concerns.

Jarvis is preparing for his long-awaited comeback against Adrian Rodriguez in Sydney on December 13, with Hamdan labelling the 27-year-old ‘Glass Jaw Jarvis’ and calling for a domestic grudge match in 2025.

Jarvis is only too happy to oblige.

“I’d be happy to end his career,” Jarvis said.

“No problem at all. It doesn’t matter what weight, I don’t care – middleweight, super-welterweight – I’m comfortable wherever.

“Give me a date and a weight and I’ll be there.

“There’s no fear here, mate, nothing confronts me.”

The long-simmering animosity between the pair erupted last week when Hamdan posted a photo of Jarvis being knocked out by Paro to his Instagram story hours after this masthead broke the news of Jarvis and Fenech reuniting.

“I saw that post he put up of me getting knocked out and I thought to myself, ‘What a pussy move’,” Jarvis said. “Make sure you put that in – what a pussy move, celebrating another man’s victory.”

In a wild twist, Fenech and Hamdan are both at a training camp in Bangkok this week.

Jarvis was supposed to be on the trip as well, but is putting the finishing touches on his preparations for December 13 in Sydney.

“My understanding is that Hass and Jeff are both in Thailand training,” Jarvis said. “So all the bitching and moaning and carrying on is intriguing to me.

“I love hearing him bitch and moan.

“I don’t know what he’s whingeing about. I don’t give a shit who he trains with, and I don’t give a shit what he thinks.

“Jeff and me have always been close, regardless of peoples’ opinions, and Jeff is happy to be involved in this camp.

“But he’s not holding my hand. I don’t need anyone holding my hand. Jeff’s involved in the camp, that’s his position – that’s it.”

Fenech didn’t want to get involved in the ugly spat between the two former mates, saying, “I love both boys” when contacted in Thailand this week.

Those close to both parties were hopeful of a resolution over the weekend, but neither fighter is taking a backward step.

“He was a good kid, and I used to hang around with him,” Jarvis said.

“He was always a slow learner, but I tried to help him where I could.

“I never had any animosity towards him, so to hear him say all that stuff was new to me.

“I’ve sparred him a hundred times and I’ve never felt anything.

“I’ve never even been tickled.

“It’s just interesting to hear all the emotions he has.”
