Cleveland Cavaliers fans use firetruck to celebrate NBA title win over Golden State Warriors
THEY didn’t exactly steal a firetruck, but Cleveland fans have made good use of it as part of their celebrations of the Cavaliers’ first NBA title.

And they aren’t wasting the opportunity, with pictures surfacing on Twitter of a sea of wine and gold fans using a firetruck as part of their toast to the Cavs history-making win.

Initial reports were that the firetruck was stolen by fans and being driven around the city.
But Cleveland Police have poured cold water on that, Tweeting, in all caps:
“Dispelling false reports of stolen fire truck. No emergency vehicles have been stolen.”
By the looks of their Twitter feed, the police are celebrating the Cavs’ win just as hard as the rest of Cleveland.

Thousands of fans are in the Cleveland city after a huge watch party at their home court, Quicken Loans Arena.

The Cavs became the first team in NBA history to come back from 3-1 down, dispatching the Golden State Warriors in Game 7 this morning, their superstar and saviour LeBron James named the Finals Most Valuable Player after his triple-double.
