Ricks and his Super Bowl winning teammates rolled into the prestigious house to meet Donald Trump, months after their victory over the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.
While most people would be left overawed by meeting the most powerful man in the free world, Ricks was too busy focusing on a different member of the Trump family.
The 23-year-old had eyes only for Ivanka Trump who made a rare appearance at the White House during the Eagles visit after turning her back on politics.
Ricks didn’t hide his feelings towards the President’s daughter, taking to social media and posting multiple times about Ivanka.
“Donald Trump daughter is beautiful damn,” he posted before adding “After seeing her in person Ivanka is exactly my type”.
He then finished off his love-affair by retweeting a post which showed off four images of Ivanka walking into the White House.
Unfortunately for Ricks the 43-year-old socialite is married to real estate developer Jared Kushner.
Ivanka strolled onto the South Lawn of the White House with her 13-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son, Joseph Frederick.
She looked chic in a double-breasted blazer, a midi skirt and white pumps. She styled her blond locks straight for the special occasion.
While Ricks was doting over Ivanka, Donald Trump, who also regularly discusses his daughter’s beauty, was taking yet another swipe at Taylor Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs.
The 78-year-old used his address to the gathered media to take an impromptu shot at Swift, adding another chapter to their public war of words.
His public swipe was another twist in his feud with Swift which has sizzled since the pop star publicly endorsed Kamala Harris ahead of the 2024 US Presidential elections.
Trump showed he does not forgive or forget when he decided to stick the boot into Swift once more when he delivered a speech on the White House lawn, congratulating Eagles players on their championship.
“The Eagles punched their ticket to a rematch with the Kansas City Chiefs and you know what happened,” he said.
“It was an incredible game. It was a little surprising, but right from the beginning of the first quarter of the big game … which I was there. I watched in person. I was there along with Taylor Swift. How did that work out? How did that one work out.”
Sections of the crowd could be heard laughing loudly during the TV broadcast.
