Caleb Williams’ message to rivals ahead of Championship Game

Eagle-eyed viewers were quick to spot a message a young star had for his rivals with the image sending social media wild.

College football star Caleb Williams delivered a not so subtle message to his opponents ahead of the Pac 12 Championship game on Saturday.

Williams is expected to win the Heisman Trophy after a stellar season with USC and against Utah he made his feelings known.

The star delivered a brutal shot to his rivals who handed USC their only loss on the season by painting “F*** Utah” across his nails.

Camera crews quickly spotted the star’s message and zoomed in before they quickly zoomed out after realising what he had written on his right hand.

Unfortunately for Williams it was Utah who laughed last. After racing out to a 14-3 lead, Utah flipped the script and dominated the remainder of the contest, running away to claim the 47-24 victory.

Not to be finished there the Utah social media team took a shot at Williams and his nail painting in a brutal post.

In the post-game USC coach Lincoln Riley confirmed Williams had popped his hamstring in the first quarter, but refused to be taken out of the game.

“I asked him at one point are you 50%? He wasn’t even close to 50%. I definitely thought about taking him out and he wouldn’t let me. In terms of guys I’ve coached at that position, maybe the gutsiest performance I’ve ever seen,” Riley said.

USC did produce arguably the biggest highlight of the night when Utah’s quarterback Cameron Rising was flattened like a pancake.

Rising rolled to his right and scrambled out of the pocket. After juking one defender, he made a move for the first down only to get drilled by USC linebacker Ralen Goforth.
