Departing Melbourne star Clayton Oliver has taken a swipe at the Demons as he ponders his next footy home.
The premiership Demon was told in a meeting with new coach Steven King to explore other opportunities after a turbulent few seasons.
Oliver, 28, was given a tour of Sydney by a GWS Giants recruiting team and will meet with Collingwood as the Pies ramp up their attempt to land triple-All Australian midfielder.
“I love the facilities (at GWS),” he said to Channel 7.
“What do I like about them (Collingwood)? I like them better than Melbourne, that’s for sure.
“Frustrating, no - it’s the business, isn’t it?”
