WESTERN Bulldogs forward Stewart Crameri says he is “refreshed” in body and mind and has plenty of football left despite a frustrating past two seasons.

The Bulldogs have not yet offered Crameri, 29, a new deal for 2018, the club saying it will wait until after the trade period before making a call.

Crameri kicked 32 goals from 18 games in his most recent full season in 2015 before the former Bomber was suspended for 2016 as part of the Essendon supplements saga.

He managed only two games this season because of a hip injury.

“My body’s refreshed so I’d be really excited to play again next year,” Crameri said.

“I’ve started training the last month or so, back into my running program, so that’s been good.

“But I had a couple of operations throughout the year and it was just a case of bad timing, really.

“The year before, having that off through the Essendon stuff didn’t really work out and it just hasn’t really worked out for me this year.”

Crameri said he was willing to move interstate if an opportunity arose but said he felt other clubs were holding out pending the Bulldogs’ decision.

“I’m sure I’d be able to fit in with most teams with my running ability and my speed,” Crameri said on AFL Trade Radio.

“I started a little bit later in my career, so I think I’ve got at least three or four, five years left to go.

“I had interest initially but in my case if the club don’t decide to re-sign me I’ll be a delisted free agent so clubs will be interested after they find out what the go is.

“As frustrating as it is, it’s a waiting game really.”

Crameri has kicked 166 goals in 99 games since 2010.
