TOM Liberatore has been cleared by doctors to play for the Western Bulldogs on Saturday night while Matthew Boyd and Tom Campbell both look set to return.
Liberatore suffered a concussion during last Friday night’s clash with GWS but coach Luke Beveridge confirmed this morning the star midfielder had recovered well and would be available for selection later today.
Beveridge said Boyd (back) and Campbell (ankle) were also available after missing last week’s match.
“There might be one or two really stiff lads who should stay in the team if we change the team,” Beveridge said.
“I’m pretty sure both of those players will be available for selection.”
Midfielder Mitch Wallis, who had 34 disposals and three goals in the VFL in his first game back from a broken leg last weekend, is likely to spend at least one more week in the seconds.
The Bulldogs (4-2) meet Richmond (5-1) in a crunch game at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.
