CHRIS Hemsworth, one of the most recognisable Bulldogs supporters, has hailed his side’s AFL Grand Final performance as “one of the best he’s ever seen”.
The Hollywood superstar was in town for the MCG showdown with his equally famous brother Liam, to watch their club end a 62-year premiership drought with a pulsating 22-point win over Sydney.
Speaking after the game, Chris said: “The last few days the boys have played the best I have ever seen.
“I have to say I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
“What an incredible game.
“Dad was a Footscray Bulldogs fan. I was here with my brother and my mum who also support the Bulldogs.”

When asked if there had been a “little bit of Thor about the Bulldogs” the past few weeks, Hemsworth smiled and nodded.
The Hemsworths were part of a 99,981-strong crowd to pack out the MCG to witness the historic victory.
The Bulldogs kicked clear late in the last quarter of what was an epic contest - which included five lead changes - to win 13.11 (89) to 10.7 (67).
It is only the Bulldogs’ second premiership, following their 1954 win. It is also the first premiership for Luke Beveridge as a senior coach, only two years after joining the Bulldogs when they were in crisis.
Bulldogs players and fans were in tears as the longest current AFL premiership drought finally ended.
