A PAIR of star Tigers let their emotions get the better of them in the post-Grand Final interviews, both Jack Riewoldt and Dustin Martin dropping the ‘F-bomb’ after the final siren.
With the Tigers breaking a 37-year premiership drought thanks to a 48-point victory over Adelaide, Riewoldt was overcome with emotion.

“I’m so proud of the guys,” Riewoldt said on the Seven coverage.
“Not only the guys out here…you see how much it means to the group when the guys are here in the suits that didn’t get a game today.
“Who would have thought, mate?

“We finished 13th last year, beaten by 110 points in the last round, mate. And now we’re f***ing premiers!”
Tigers legend Matthew Richardson took it in his stride.
“You can say whatever you want, mate! Well done! You’re a legend! You’re a legend!”
Dusty was more blunt when asked how good the win was: “F***en oath”.
Martin would go on to be awarded the Norm Smith Medal, capping a remarkable Brownlow Medal-MVP-Premiership season.

But the boys brought back memories of Cronulla Sharks captain Paul Gallen’s post-grand final speech after their NRL Grand Final win over the Melbourne Storm in 2016.
“I can’t tell you how proud I am of these blokes. F*** it,” Gallen said on the Nine coverage.
“Three weeks ago I was in f***ing hospital, I couldn’t walk ... I was just so proud of them.”
