RICHMOND’S premiership celebrations show no sign of slowing down, with players taking the party international last night.
Most of the Tigers Grand Final team jetted into Hong Kong and spent their first night in town at the Happy Valley Races.

The contingent included Jack Riewoldt, Josh Caddy, Shaun Grigg, Toby Nankervis, Dion Prestia, Brandon Ellis, Nathan Broad, Jason Castagna, Dan Butler, Kane Lambert, David Astbury and Toby Nankervis, plus VFL players Jayden Short, Reece Conca, Oleg Markov, Tyson Stengle and Ryan Garthwaite.
Judging by footage posted on players’ social media accounts they backed a winner, possibly when keen Aussie jockey and Tiger supporter Nash Rawiller rode a double.
He won the opening race on Sparkling Talent. He also won later on Love Chungwa. The main race the Kwoon Chung Bus Cup was won by Premiere.
Just like Grand Final day, the Richmond party went to another level after the sporting part of the night was over — and Riewoldt clearly isn’t the only player with musical ambitions. Reece Conca missed out on playing in the flag but wasn’t shy about getting on stage to show off his skills on the drums.
There were some notable absentees on the trip. Skipper Trent Cotchin clearly prefers a more relaxing holiday and has headed to Bali with wife Brooke and daughters Harper and Mackenzie.
Superstar Dustin Martin also has other plans, flying to Las Vegas today with close mate and regular travel companion Dane Swan.

Alex Rance and Bachar Houli also skipped the Hong Kong flight along with unlikely flag hero Jacob Townsend, who is in New York. Sam Lloyd, who was unlucky to miss a spot in the Grand Final team, is hiking in Yosemite National Park in California.
