Port Adelaide ruckman Scott Lycett continued the trend of mid-priced players dominating the early rounds when he topscored in Round 2 with a monster 167 against Carlton.
The West Coast premiership big man had 25 possessions and 34 hit outs as the Power held off a determined Blues outfit.
Ben Cunnington (159) was the next best in Round 2, while Patrick Dangerfield (154) hit top gear and continued his trend of huge scores against Melbourne.
Clayton Oliver returned to form with 141, emphasising the importance of holding proven players even if they falter early in the campaign.

Lycett dominated in the win over Carlton, posting a career and round-high 167 SuperCoach points from 86% game time. He finished with 23 disposals, 16 contested possessions, eight clearances and one goal. He won the ruck battle against Andrew Phillips, winning the hear-to-head hitout-to-advantage count 13-8.

Adam Treloar
Treloar was the top-ranked (135 SuperCoach points) player on the ground in the mauling of Richmond — racking up a game-high 39 disposals — posting an impressive disposal efficiency of 82%. On the spread he was excellent, winning 32 disposals post-clearance. Treloar also had 12 contested possessions, six inside 50s and chipped in with one goal from 73% game time.
Isaac Heeney
Heeney struggled to have an impact against the Crows, managing just 67 SuperCoach points from 75% game time. He attended just five centre bounces, finishing with 13 effective disposals, nine contested possessions, two clearances, four inside-50s and one score assist. Heeney is poised for a major price drop after his third match.
Dustin Martin
After making a strong start to the match with eight disposals in the opening term, Levi Greenwood completely nullified Martin — keeping him to career-low numbers for Round 2 in both disposals (19) and SuperCoach points (66). He was the equal 35th ranked played on the ground after quarter-time, finishing with one clearance, one goal and zero tackles from 81% game time.

Zak Butters
Butters scored 63 of 88 SuperCoach points in the second half against the Blues. He had 22 disposals, 10 contested possessions, one tackle and two inside 50s. He also impacted the scoreboard and kicked one goal to go with two score assists and nine score involvements — ranked second behind Travis Boak in the latter category.
