Karl Amon is poised to attempt another move to a Victorian-based club, 12 months after he tried and failed to get out of Port Adelaide.
Amon, 24, has been presented with a respectable contract offer by the Power, but has so far held off putting pen to paper as he weighs up his future.

The midfielder requested a trade home last year after managing only six senior games, but was made to stay and play out the final year of his deal after nothing materialised.
But despite a career-best year with the Power, Amon still appears set to engineer a move to a new club.

It comes after Power coach Ken Hinkley expressed his confidence Amon would re-sign.
“I think Karl will be part of Port Adelaide going forward, no doubt,” Hinkley told SEN last month.
“He’s always been a bit like; home’s in Melbourne, so if I could, would I? Karl’s bought a house in Adelaide so I imagine that it’s all boding well for us.
“It doesn’t mean we’re a lock but we would love to keep him.”
Industry chatter is growing louder that Stephen Coniglio will stay put at Greater Western Sydney, frustrating potential suitors Carlton and Hawthorn.
But the Blues could find compensation in the form of Brandon Ellis, with Richmond’s pending restricted free agent eager to secure more contract security elsewhere.

Gold Coast’s Jack Martin is also being linked to Carlton and, like Amon, appears likely to engineer a trade 12 months on from last year’s failed move.
Adelaide’s off-season of change could include Alex Keath, with the key defender and the Crows at an impasse over his pursuit of a new deal and rival clubs circling.
