MAJAK Daw joked that he had time for a cup of tea after his Mark of the Year contender on Friday night at Etihad Stadium.
Essendon’s Joe Daniher looked a certainty a couple of weeks ago after taking a similarly towering mark against St Kilda but now faces stiff competition to win the car.
Daw used Magpie defender Jonathan Marsh as step ladder in the final quarter of the clash against Collingwood and was pretty happy with the effort on Saturday morning.

“I just gave myself a bit of space and I just jumped up and the ball stuck to my hands,” Daw told the club website.
“I got up there, had a cup of tea, rang mum and dad (laughing).
“It was a nice mark.”
Marsh is no short fry, standing 194cm, and Daw almost jumped over him in a single bound.
Daw himself stands 195cm and took the ball well above his head, giving an indication of the height he reached.
The Kangaroos forward was quiet for much of the match and finished seven disposals, three marks, five tackles, one behind and 11 hitouts but will be long remembered for his highlight-reel mark.
It certainly got teammates and rivals talking on Twitter with plenty excited by the grab.
Can I please have your new car @majakdaw

It was a night of highlights with Steele Sidebottom putting in a Goal of the Year contender as well.
The Magpies star gathered on the boundary line, shrugged off a would-be tackler before slotting a classy goal that sparked the Magpies comeback late on Friday night.
While the comeback fell short, Sidebottom’s effort will definitely be among the highlights for the rest of the season.
