With North Melbourne set to name its 10 best players of all-time, dual premier and Kangaroos’ favourite son David King Has named his list of the best. Did he get it right?

Ahead of North Melbourne’s 150th celebrations this weekend, dual premier David King has named his top 10 Kangaroos of all-time.

King admitted Shinboner of the Century Glenn Archer was omitted because “he doesn’t really mind if I leave him out, so I’ve made it easy on myself” and, of course, plumbed for the King, Wayne Carey at No.1.
“I had a go, there’s no winners here, it’s a tough one,” King said on Fox Footy’s AFL360.
“Wayne’s clearly going to be No.1, then you can pick your poison.”

King chose the legendary dual premier and Brownlow Medalist Malcolm Blight at No.2, two-time Brownlow Medal winner and Australian Football Hall of famer Keith Greig at No.3, with AFL games record holder Brent ‘Boomer’ Harvey and four-time best and fairest and dual premier David Dench round out his top five.
“The Kangaroos have had 1021 players play, so this is a seriously tough task,” he said.
