MELBOURNE missed out on finals by 0.19 per cent last season but Herald Sun chief football write Mark Robinson has left the Demons out of his top eight predictions.

With the league’s longest premiership drought, Robbo believes there will be no Demons fairytale this season and makes a compelling case why their decade-long finals absence will continue.

Robinson gives his thoughts on Melbourne with columnist David King for Footy 18, the Herald Sun’s 116 page footy magazine.
