Melbourne midfielder Clayton Oliver has continued to train hard while away from his teammates as he pushed through a session on Monday morning.
Oliver ran strongly at Gosch’s Paddock in warm conditions, at the same time as his teammates completed their own training at Casey.
The 26-year-old was with two others as he powered through lengthy running before some light kicking and was in good spirits.
He has not trained with the rest of his Melbourne team this year due to personal issues.
There is no timeline in place for Oliver to return to team training.
Melbourne footy boss Alan Richardson said last month Oliver was working with his own medical team.
“Clayton has personal issues that he has been dealing with. Clayton has been working extremely closely with his personal medical team, and with the support of key club staff, in order to manage these challenges,” Richardson said.
The superstar midfielder was called upon to meet club standards in October by the Demons after talk he could be up for a trade.
He left a club camp in December to take a personal break.
One of the AFL’s best onballers, Oliver has won four club best and fairest awards across his 162 games.
