SEASON LAUNCH: HUNGER ALONE WON’T DELIVER BOMBERS A FLAG
Stringer is sporting a top bun this pre-season and now he’s bleached it blonde — and it’s impossible to miss.
The forward debuted his new hair at training and at the club’s season launch on Wednesday night.
And it’s fair to say it’s drawn a few comments from teammates and fans.
Teammate and fellow recruit Devon Smith posted a video of Stringer on Instagram showing his teammate’s new hair and captioned it: “What a head”.
It comes after Stringer arrived for his first training session at the Bombers with a massive lion head tattoo on his stomach.
Stringer’s new teammate, young gun Darcy Parish, warned there’s more to come.
“The lion is pretty interesting,” Parish told 3AW. “He’s got a new one coming on as well on the chest, so we’ll have to stay tuned for that.
“I think it’s going to be an owl.”
Stringer is expected to make his Essendon debut this Saturday when the Bombers play their first JLT Series match against Richmond in Wangaratta.
