BROWNLOW medallist Dane Swan has revealed he dropped 14kg during a pre-season in the South African jungle.
The 33-year-old last night finished runner-up in Channel 10’s I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here — beaten by singer Casey Donovan — and was one hungry hippo after he escaped from the confines of the camp.

“I’ve lost 14kg. I’ve got to find a way to put it back on,” Swan said on radio this morning.
“It feels amazing (to be out). I’ve had eight glasses of red and a big feed.
“First thing was a steak mash potato and veg, now I’ve smashed two blocks of chocolate and half a cheesecake and three packs of chips.”
A renowned hater of summer training at Collingwood, Swan joked that his jungle pre-season might have just been what he needed to get him back on the football field in 2018.
“It was really hard, but it’s been fun, the last week was good, really worth it even though I had some doubts,” Swan said.
“I’ve said, ‘What the hell are you doing, this is my gap year’. I don’t know what I am doing. I’m well within what I played for for years (weight wise). If I get my foot right, what do you reckon?”
Swan, who played 258 AFL games, was listed at a playing weight of 92kg in his final season at the Magpies last year, which ended when he broke his foot in Round 1.
1st day back for the pies today and I just went on a long exhausting 20min search for the remote. Found it. Not all heros wear capes.
