After a call to arms to footy fans by CUB asking which teams wanted their own cans, it was no shock that the Magpie army were the most passionate about getting their hands on some trademark beer.
As a result 30,000 cases of the unique Magpie cans have been produced and will be available only in Victoria.

And to accompany the campaign launch of “The Can for the True Fan” some Magpie royalty have been rolled out in a TV commercial.
Naturally president Eddie McGuire is front and square with cheersquad leader Joffa while some former greats also feature including Anthony Rocca, Simon Prestigiacomo and Chris Tarrant.
Steele Sidebottom represents the current team with the suggestion they will be putting their special cans on ice until the last Saturday in September.
The limited edition Collingwood campaign comes on the back successful roll-outs with West Coast Eagles premiership cans and a Carlton Draught dedicated to Australia’s greatest racehorse Winx.
If as expected the Magpie fans embrace the concept, CUB will then look to produce cans for other AFL clubs.
