The pinstripes featured on Collingwood guernseys from the early 1950s until mid-1970s.
The guernsey, which is available for pre-order on the club’s official online shop, will also feature the club’s newly redesigned logo and appears to include an extra black stripe on both sides under the arms.
Since 2012, Collingwood’s clash guernsey has featured solid black stripes on top of a predominantly white guernsey — with the addition of the pinstripes is the most notable new design feature for next season.
The players also wore a similar guernsey from 2007-2010 before trialling a mostly black jumper with just two white stripes in 2011.
This year, Collingwood wore a specially-designed guernsey for its 125-year celebrations, which featured the pinstripes as a nod to its history. Players wore the guernsey against Carlton in Round 7.
Collingwood’s home guernsey will remain the same, with the predominantly black guernsey to also feature the club’s new logo.
